I have grown some salad from seed here at the garden and I’m very pleased. It has done so well here and I was pleased to see it’s come out when I looked on Monday 22nd May. I was so pleased, I took photos of the salad to share around with everyone. I’ve also planted other plants and sunflowers so I will have to see how well they do in the garden which is coming on very well now from when I first started going to the Secret Garden.
On Monday 5th June 2023 Jane Elizabeth Hutt, the Welsh Government Minister for Social Justice, visited the Secret Garden and showed I her around and said what we have done there. I told her that I grew the salad from seed and I’m very pleased with it. Jane stayed for an hour and joined in with the planting as well.
