Time Travelling on a Tuesday Morning

I love doing history and going back in time to learn how people lived, how they dressed, and what they did.

I do history on a Tuesday morning with Innovate. It used to be every other Tuesday, but now it is every Tuesday to make sure we have enough time to get everything done. This is because the funding ends in March 2026, but I would really like the history group to carry on so we can keep learning new things.

One of my favourite parts was when we learned about the Roper family. They once lived in the White House where the Secret Garden is, which is why I call it the Roper Garden. I was the first one in the group to find the grave of the Roper family at St Fagans Church cemetery, which made me feel really proud.

The history group is great. It runs every Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:30. Sometimes we go to the Glamorgan Archives to see if we can find more information about the research we are working on at the time.

I love history and family trees too. It is interesting to find out how people lived back in the past, especially because today people are living longer.
